Residents of Lingayen lined up eagerly at the newly opened KADIWA Store at the Civic Center, taking advantage of the P29 per kilo rice.

The KADIWA Store in Lingayen opened on August 29, 2024.

Many residents saw this as a significant opportunity to buy essentials at lower costs.

Beyond rice, the Kadiwa Store features various homegrown products from Lingayen, such as bagoong, along with fruits, vegetables, fish, meat, and other items from nearby towns.

The initiative also supports small businesses, providing them with a platform to earn more.

The Kadiwa Store will hold its next events in Lingayen on September 16 and again on September 30.
