The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) has announced a scheduled power interruption in Cagayan from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, August 30, 2024.
NGCP said the power interruption is necessary to allow for corrective maintenance work along the Tuguegarao-Tabuk-Solana 69kV line.
The affected areas include the following substations under the Cagayan I Electric Cooperative, Inc. (CAGELCO I):
- Carig
- Caritan
- Solana
- Piat
The substation under Kalinga-Apayao Electric Cooperative, Inc. (KAELCO) that will be affected is:
- Tabuk
Power supply is expected to be restored after the completion of the maintenance work.
Residents are advised to plan accordingly for the duration of the interruption.
