The Ilocos Norte Agricultural College in Pasquin, Ilocos Norte has launched its first-ever "Fiesta Ti Panagraep" as part of its commitment to sustainable agricultural community engagement.

Students, teachers, and non-teaching staff actively participated in planting seeds during the event, which included a ceremonial planting for a new rice paddy art project.

Last year's rice paddy art, featuring President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and Ilocos Norte Governor Matthew Manotoc, attracted many visitors.

The school's principal, Almer Anatolio Ratuite, emphasized the importance of the event in fostering a love for farming among the youth.

“Our objective [is] to encourage our famers, [especially] ‘yung mga kabataan — they will value farming as part of their produce foods, and I’m looking forward ‘yung mga kabataan, anak, or mga student natin, [that] they [will] also value farming, and this activity will promote the love on our children in farming," Almer Anatolio Ratuite, the school principal, said.
