Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte, showcased 50 motorized boats in its annual fluvial parade, marking the opening of the Kangayedan Festival.

The festival celebrates a traditional dance that reflects strong faith and gratitude for a bountiful harvest.

Hundreds of spectators came to witness the diverse decorations adorning the boats.

Participating in the parade were local government employees, fishermen, coast guard personnel, and police officers.

The annual celebration coincides with the feast of the town's patron, Saint John the Baptist.
