Seven more barangays in Libungan, Cotabato were declared drug-cleared by the Regional Oversight Committee on Barangay Drug Clearing (ROCBDC)-12.
These barangays are Batiocan, Cabaruyan, Malengen, Montay, Nica-an, Sinawingan, and Ulimian.
On the other hand, nine barangays in the said town have retained their drug-cleared status after the declaration in 2023.
These are Barangays Barongis, Cabpangi, Demapaco, Grebona, Gumaga, Kiloyao, Kitubod, Palao, and Sinapangan.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-12 said several barangays in the region are under monitoring and validation after submitting application to be declared as drug-cleared barangay.
