At least 100 families affected by road project in Naga City

At least 100 families in Barangay Balatas, Naga City are affected by a road widening project of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).

This is based on data gathered by the Housing and Settlement Development Office (HSDO) of Naga City.

Aside from the residents in Balatas, at least 30 families in Barangays Cararayan and Del Rosario are also affected by a similar project.

Authorities have reportedly long informed the families about the project. The families were given two months to leave their locations to pave way for the widening works.

Engr. Rolando Campillos of HSDO assured that a relocation site has been identified for the families affected to settle at.
