The Ilocos Sur Festival Grand Parade showcased the province's agricultural wealth, featuring various products and produce that are central to the local economy.
San Juan showcased its fresh vegetables, while Santa Maria presented the famous Simbahayn and sweet delicacies like Balicucha.
The town of Santa brought its fresh fish and quality-made Itak.
Sinait, known for its abundant garlic plantations, was also in the parade.
"Shrine of Santo Cristo Milagroso Minor Basilica kasi kami kaya yun ang number one tourist attraction ng aming bayan… it is an agricultural community kaya kumpleto ang bayan ng Sinait," Edward Bautista, Sinait SB Secretary, said.
Different government agencies also joined the parade.
Two alternate routes were designated in San Ildefonso and Bantay after Vigan City restricted entry to one lane to ensure smooth traffic.
