Ken recently joined GMA Music as one of its recording artists and his duet with Rita titled “Almusal” saw its radio release on the same day. In an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com, the Kapuso actor shared his enthusiasm about his career feat.

He said, “We didn’t expect na talagang papatok sa tao ‘yung BoBrey and of course we’re really happy talaga na na-a-appreciate kami ng mga tao, especially ‘yung My Special Tatay. Thankful and blessed na habang tumatagal pa po ‘yung My Special Tatay eh nandyan pa rin, mas nahu-hook ‘yung mga tao especially kay Boyet at Aubrey. Marami pa silang dapat abangan.”
“Because of My Special Tatay and because of BoBrey, eto na, meron na tayong pa-almusal. 'Almusal' ang first duet, single namin ni Rita Daniela,” he continued.
Ken claimed many can identify and connect with their song.
He shared, “Kasi tayong mga Pinoy, mahilig tayo sa almusal. At alam naman natin kapag sa relationship natin na kunwari hindi naging maganda o nag-away, nagkatampuhan tayo sa karelasyon natin, isa sa mga best way suyuin ‘yung minamahal natin is ipaghanda sila ng almusal. ‘Di ba, ganun ‘yung kinaugalian natin so hindi lang millennials ang makaka-relate dito kung 'di lahat ng tao, mapamatanda, mapabata but especially millennials.”
“For sure makaka-relate sila at relatable kasi itong song namin and feel-good music. Ayun ang gusto natin ngayon eh, feel-good music. Sigurado bagay na bagay ‘to sa mga tao na gusto ng feel good music,” he also added.
“Almusal” will be available for download and streaming starting January 15.
