The importance of self-love will be tackled in the millennial debut film of Kapuso teen actress Kyline Alcantara.

The former Kambal, Karibal star takes the lead in the film Black Lipstick with her character suffering from a skin condition called vitiligo.
In her exclusive chat in Sikat with Papa Obet, Kyline explained that the movie tackles so many relevant issues in the society.
She explained, “I have vitiligo po dito, it’s a skin condition. Black Lipstick po ang dami po niyang nata-tap na issues ngayon in our society, in our generation.
“Lalo na po sa atin- sa bullying, cyberbullying. Ngayon kasi ang daming kabataan na hindi nila mahal ‘yung sarili nila.
“In social media they are ok but the truth is they’re really not In real life hindi talaga sila masaya or hindi nila accepted ‘yung unqiue self nila,”
Kyline Alcantara also wished that moviegoers will learn the importance of self-love through Black Lipstick.
“Sobrang millennial ng Black Lipstick and with this masasabi ko naman somehow matutulungan nito ang ibang kabataan or mga tao na manonood na parang ma-accept nila ‘yung sarili nila and mas mahalin ‘yung sarili nila.”
