EXCLUSIVE: Mike Enriquez approves of longer hours for 'Dobol B sa News TV': "Mas maraming oras makapaglingkod."

Multi-awarded news and radio personality Mike Enriquez is looking forward to the new chapter for Dobol B sa News TV as it now airs every day from 6 a.m. to 12 noon with new programs and exciting line-up.

 

 

Dobol B sa News TV now airs Mondays to Sundays

Mike holds the distinction as the first & only Filipino to win the Asian TV Awards' Best News Anchor.

The GMA News Pillar is also the president of RGMA Network Inc. and a Consultant for Radio of GMA Network Inc.

In an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com, Mike said that this big change for DZBB is an opportunity for them to provide service to more Kapuso.

He explained, “Ang journey ng DZBB at ng Radio GMA ay never-ending, so the journey continues.

“So, now we have more hours, we have more chances to serve our listeners and our viewers.

“Mas marami kaming pagkakataon at mas maraming oras makapaglingkod sa mas marami pang tao.”

Two of the best female radio broadcasters Susan Enriquez and Rowena Salvacion are eager to take on new challenges as they host their respective programs in Dobol B sa News TV.

Rowena will headline Isyu Atbp., wherein she will tackle the biggest issue of the week every Saturday at 7 a.m.

She said, “Isyu Atbp. ay na-conceptualize ng DZBB to offer ‘yung recap ng pinakamalaking isyu—not just news ng buong week kundi ‘yung isyung pinakamabibigat.

“Kasi, ibig sabihin magiging in depth [ang pagtalakay namin].

“Halimbawa, hindi ka magra-rundown ng malalaking stories na parang nagbabasa ka lang ng news.”

“Isyu siya pipili ka ng pinakamalaking isyu buong week, so lalaliman mo siya with research, backgrounds and latest update dun sa isyu na ‘yun.”

Meanwhile, Kapuso fans of the defunct public affairs program Kay Susan Tayo!  will once again enjoy the bubbly character of Susan Enriquez in her DZBB show Kay Susan Tayo sa Radyo!

The long-time Kapuso news reporter promises that her show will be fun and informative.

“Madadala ko dito sa programa is ‘yung mga information na gaya dun sa Kay Susan Tayo! mga information na parang nao-overlook natin minsan.”

“Hindi na napag-uusapan and of course na nagpalapit sa puso ng mga tao Kay Susan Tayo! ‘yung light lang siya, puwede kang tumawa.”

GMA News Pillar Mike Enriquez also expressed his heartfelt appreciation for the awards and recognitions which DZBB received through the years.

However, Mike stressed that the ‘trust’ of their loyal listeners matters to them even more.

“Nakakataba ng puso, pero ang tunay na award ay ‘yung pagtitiwala ng mga tao.

“Walang tatalo dun kahit na sabihin mo isang truck ng tropeo at plaque ang maigawad sa DZBB.

“Wala pa rin tatalo dun pag nakita mo na pinagkakatiwalaan ka ng mga nakikinig at nanonood.

“Pinaniniwalaan ka at binibigyan ka ng pagkakataon na makapaglingkod sa kanila, ‘yun ang pinaka matingkad na award!”
