Young balladeer Josh Yape dropped by at Sikat sa Barangay to promote his newest single last October 29.

Josh said he started singing when he was just five years-old.

He is Grade 10 student now at the Greenview Montessori School in Binangonan, Rizal.

The singer told Barangay LS, “Bale nag-start po akong kumanta five years old ako. Nung bata po ako, ang mga kinakanta ko po, siyempre, mga Aegis po, ganun, kasi po ‘yung boses ko po matinis.”

He is also the voice behind the hit OPM single titled “Maghihintay Ako.”

According to Josh, the single is dedicated for people who believe in long distance relationship.

“Yung ‘Maghihintay Ako’ bagay na bagay siya sa mga long distance relationship.

“’Tsaka, bagay din po siya sa mga millennials na katulad ko na handang maghintay para makamit ‘yung tunay na pag-ibig nila.”
