Fireflies unite! Owl City to stage free concert on May 8

The musician behind the hits ‘Fireflies’ and ‘When Can I See You Again’ from the Disney film Wreck-It Ralph, Owl City will be holding a free concert here in the Philippines on May 8.

Owl City, whose real name is Adam Young posted on his official Facebook account the exciting news about his concert in Taguig last Saturday.

“To my friends in the Philippines! I'm SO EXCITED to share I will be playing in Manila on May 8th at Bonifacio High Street Central Plaza! This show is free! See you soon!”

Adam's breakout single ‘Fireflies’ from his album ‘Ocean Eyes’ is a certified six-times platinum.

Moreover, his collaboration with Canadian singer Carly Rae Jepsen which was released in 2012 is a global hit and has accumulated more than 152 million views in the video sharing site YouTube.
