Sam Smith, big winner in this year's Grammys

UK singer Sam Smith is the runaway winner in the 57th edition of the Grammy awards held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California last February 8 (Sunday, US time).
The phenomenal singer often dubbed as ‘the male version of Adele’ won four awards: Record of the Year, Song of the Year for his single ‘Stay with Me’, Best New Artist and Best Pop Vocal Album.
Sam also performed live during the award ceremony with American diva and Grammy winner Mary J. Blige.
Meanwhile, Filipino pride Robert Lopez and his wife Kristen Anderson-Lopez bagged the honors for Best Song Written for Visual Media for their song ‘Let it Go’ and Best Compilation Soundtrack For Visual Media.
The power couple won ‘Best Song’ in the Oscars last year.
Beyonce and Jay-Z’s collaboration ‘Drunk in Love’ was awarded ‘Best R&B Song’ and American rapper Eminem bagged the title for ‘Best Rap Album.’
'Happy' singer Pharrell Williams will be partying with the minions after he took home the award for ‘Best Pop Solo Performance.’
Mother monster Lady Gaga and the legendary Tony Bennett sparkles in the Grammy awards as well after the two won ‘Best Traditional Pop Vocal album’ for their ‘Cheek To Cheek’ album.
