Papa Dudut is “shameless” – Ate Liza

Papa Dudut and Ate Liza have been hosting Radyo Nobela for so long that they share truckloads of inside jokes and can finish each other’s sentences.

What can Ate Liza say, in turn, about Papa Dudut?

Ate Liza fondly calls Papa Dudut as a PR man. He knows the guards because he greets them every day. He knows how to deal with their supporters and how to put on a brave face in front of a lot of people.

Another reason why she sees him as friendly is because he’s a good sport. She admits that teasing has already become a permanent thing among the LS DJs, but she lauds how Papa Dudut is always game to take in anything. “Hindi siya napipikon kahit binibiro namin siya,” she said.

Blessed
It’s beyond Ate Liza how lucky her partner is. “Blessed ‘yan kasi maraming opportunities ang dumarating dyan,” she shared.

After the book that he’ll release, there might be many bigger opportunities for Papa Dudut.  “Plinug (niya) na magkakaroon ka ng sarili (niyang) libro. So susunod niyan, feeling ko magkakaroon na ng movie si Papa Dudut tapos hindi na niya kami papansinin,” she half-joked. “Ganun na ‘yung mangyayari nyan tapos katapusan na ng partnership namin pero tanggap ko na.

He’s one of those who know how to seize the day, making him many times blessed. “Madaming dumadating sa kanya na opportunities na siguro sa ibang tao, hindi dadating sa kanila pero sa kanya, (dumadating),” she added.

“Papa Dudut is shameless. Ang pangit nito pero i-e-explain ko naman kung bakit,” Ate Liza said, laughing. “Ibig sabihin nun walang hiya sa Tagalog. Ay, pangit pa rin.”

“Confident. Ayun. Mas magandang term,” she clarified. She sees her partner as someone who is street smart and knows his way around. He even carefully looks into what he can do so he would know how to expand his skill set.

“Alam niya ‘yung capabilities niya. Alam niya kung saan siya medyo mahina at tanggap niya ‘yun pero kina-capitalize niya ‘yung strengths niya para mag-succeed siya in a certain thing, which works kasi sa business nga namin, syempre kailangan makipagsabayan ka,” she added.

It is this skill in particular that makes Papa Dudut stand out from the rest. “Pag confident ka with what you do, it’s one of the factors kung bakit ka magiging successful,” she declared.
