Green Bones follows the story of a prisoner, played by Dennis Trillo, who is up for parole after being locked up for murder. A newly assigned prison guard, portrayed by Ruru Madrid, takes a personal interest in ensuring that the prisoner remains behind bars, no matter what it takes.

Besides the main actors, talented actresses such as  Iza Calzado, Alessandra de Rossi, Kylie Padilla, and Sofia Pablo will be part of the cast as well.

The inspirational drama is created by the team behind the MMFF 2023 Best Picture winner, Firefly. It is directed by Zig Dulay and written by National Artist Ricky Lee and MMFF 2023 Best Screenplay winner Anj Atienza. The film is produced by GMA Pictures, GMA Public Affairs, and Brightburn Entertainment.
