'Green Bones' official poster earns thumbs up from netizens

GMA Pictures and GMA Public Affairs have officially unveiled the highly anticipated film poster for their 2024 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry film, Green Bones.
The poster was revealed on November 11 across the social media pages of GMA Network, GMA Pictures, and GMA Public Affairs. It featured the faces of the film's lead actors, Dennis Trillo and Ruru Madrid, positioned side by side to form a single head. A chain-like design separates the two faces, forming the iconic tree that has appeared in several sneak peeks and teasers for Green Bones.

Green Bones follows the story of a prisoner, played by Dennis Trillo, who is up for parole after being locked up for murder. A newly assigned prison guard, portrayed by Ruru Madrid, takes a personal interest in ensuring that the prisoner remains behind bars, no matter what it takes.
Besides the main actors, talented actresses such as Iza Calzado, Alessandra de Rossi, Kylie Padilla, and Sofia Pablo will be part of the cast as well.
The inspirational drama is created by the team behind the MMFF 2023 Best Picture winner, Firefly. It is directed by Zig Dulay and written by National Artist Ricky Lee and MMFF 2023 Best Screenplay winner Anj Atienza. The film is produced by GMA Pictures, GMA Public Affairs, and Brightburn Entertainment.
To add to the excitement, Green Bones will also be distributed by Columbia Pictures for Sony Pictures Releasing International.
