Kathryn Bernardo on Star Cinema-GMA Pictures collaboration, 'Ramdam mo 'yung suporta ng both networks'

Kathryn Bernardo was ecstatic about her and Alden Richards' upcoming movie, Hello, Love, Again, which is the first collaboration of Star Cinema and GMA Pictures for the upcoming movie co-starring with Alden Richards.

Hello, Love, Again is the sequel to Kathryn and Alden's blockbuster 2019 movie Hello, Love, Goodbye, where they portrayed Joy and Ethan respectively.

"It's under Star Cinema and also GMA Pictures, nag-collab sila this time. And since day 1, they have been very supportive. Nag-visit rin sila noong nag-Canada, and then they were there during the New Movie Announce, from GMA bosses to ABS-CBN bosses, they were all there showing their support," Kathryn expressed on her guesting in Fast Talk with Boy Abunda.

She added, "Ang saya simula ng ganung klaseng project na ramdam mo 'yng suporta ng both networks."

During the movie announcement in May 2024, GMA Pictures President and GMA Network Senior Vice President Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes said that Hello, Love, Again is the best movie to start the collaboration between the two film outlets.

She said, “Wala pa tayong ginagawa na joint venture movie because I think, this is the best movie that we can begin with."

“I think, three years ago, 'yung talks natin, and this is the first contract that we entered into with ABS-CBN, itong joint venture for movies,” she revealed.

“Sa umpisa pa lang, niloloko ko na si Carlo [Katigbak, President and CEO of ABS-CBN]. Sabi ko, 'Tara, mag-sequel na tayo ng 'Hello, Love, Goodbye.' Palagi ko siyang niloloko everytime may meeting kami, 'yan 'yung niloloko ko. Akala ko biro lang.

“Tapos bigla na lang a month ago, a few weeks ago, biglang sabi niya, 'Tara, gawin na natin 'yung sequel.' Sabi ko, 'Totoo ba 'to?'”

Hello, Love, Again continues the story of Ethan and Joy as they reunite in Canada, five years after they first met in Hong Kong.

In Hello, Love, Goodbye, Ethan and Joy met in Hong Kong as struggling OFWs. Unfortunately, their romance didn't blossom as Joy chose to pursue her dream in Canada as a nurse.

Hello, Love, Again will be shown exclusively in cinemas worldwide on November 13, 2024.
