Korean-American actor Kevin Kreider's dream came true now that he is part of the upcoming movie Hello, Love, Again starring Alden Richards and Kathryn Bernardo.

Based on the trailer of the movie, Kevin portrays Uno, the guy in the airport who calls Joy by her new name, "Marie."

"My first dream was to be an actor. The Fil-Am, which is the Filipino-American, and the Filipino community were the first community to give me my real first shot in acting. Obviously, people knew me from Bling Empire. This is the first time I feel support from any Asian community to really get a shot on the map," he told OMNI News.

Joining the cast in Canada for filming, Kevin received the love from Filipinos in the country.

"Because, like I said, in America, we don't get that. If anything, a lot of us see is ourselves as competition, where there's a lot of hate and jealousy. It was such a refresher to see that fans love their actors," he added.

Hello, Love, Goodbye told the story of Ethan and Joy, who were both struggling overseas Filipino workers trying to find their place and their purpose in Hong Kong. While they truly loved each other, their romance didn't have a chance to blossom further as Joy chose to pursue her dreams in Canada as a nurse.

In Hello, Love, Again, Ethan and Joy will reunite in Canada, five years after they separated.

Hello, Love, Again will be the first film collaboration between Star Cinema and GMA Pictures. Directed by Cathy Garcia-Sampana, it will be shown exclusively in cinemas on November 13, 2024.
