GMA's MMFF entry 'Firefly' releases teaser, gets 1M views in 12 hours

Firefly, GMA Network's official entry to the 2023 Metro Manila Film Festival, released its teaser on Wednesday, November 8.

The 90-second teaser showed the characters of Alessandra De Rossi, Euwenn Mikaell, Miguel Tanfelix, Ysabel Ortega, Epy Quizon, and Dingdong Dantes.

Euwenn portrays Tonton, a young boy who searches for the mythical island of fireflies.

In 12 hours, the teaser was already viewed over a million times as fans could not hide their excitement for another masterpiece.

One user wrote, "Huy another masterpiece from Direk Zig Dulay! The quality! And ang unpredictable ng story."

Netizens could not hide their excitement as Firefly, GMA's official entry to the 2023 Metro Manila Film Festival, dropped its first teaser.

Directed by Zig Dulay, Firefly is a coming-of-age road trip drama about a young boy who searches for the mythical island described in his mother's bedtime stories.

Also part of Firefly's stellar cast are Cherry Pie Picache, Yayo Aguila, Max Collins, and Kokoy De Santos.
