Michael V. acknowledges filmmaking as a powerful medium

Actor-director Michael V. took to Instagram to express his utmost appreciation to the people who already watched his passion project ‘Family History.’ The film teams him up with highly-respected movie actress Dawn Zulueta.
In a lengthy post, Michael V., or Bitoy to his close friends, echoed some of the moviegoers' words after watching his movie.
"Nakakatuwa na lahat ‘yon e na-address ng #FamilyHistory. May mga naka-realize ng mga pagkakamali nila, ng kulang sa kanila... At nakakataba ng puso ‘yung pasasalamat nila dahil tinulungan silang mag-isip at makaramdam ng isang pelikula.”
The award-winning comedian added that he realized the ‘power’ of doing movies and how it can touch the lives of so many individuals.
“I realize now how powerful film is as a medium. Kagaya ng paniniwala ko, any film project should not be taken for granted.
“It has to touch a heart if not a soul. Dalawang oras lang ang ibinigay sa ‘king opportunity at sa loob ng two hours na ‘yon, ‘sangkatutak na pala ang naapektuhan.”
He ended his post by thanking everyone for their immense support to ‘Family History.’
“Ako ang totoong dapat magpasalamat sa inyo for giving me this chance. I’m glad na hindi nasayang ang pinagpaguran ng lahat na bumuo nito. Please watch it and let me know if and how it touched you. ”
