Richard Gutierrez on ‘My Lady Boss’ co-star Marian Rivera: “I admire her as an artist, as a professional.”

Richard Gutierrez and Marian Rivera were all smiles as they arrived at the premiere night of the much awaited romantic comedy film, My Lady Boss. GMANetwork.com caught up with the film’s leading man backstage as he talked about his second big screen team-up with Marian Rivera.

When asked to describe his working relationship with his My Lady Boss leading lady, Richard was quick to respond, “’Yung respeto namin sa isa’t isa, nandiyan. I admire her as an artist, as a professional,” ‘Yun ngang pinagsamahan namin sa movie namin before, ‘yung bond na nabuo namin ‘dun, ‘yung respetong nabuo namin, nandiyan pa rin hanggang ngayon.”

He added that shooting the film was an enjoyable experience for everyone. “We have a brilliant director, si Jade Castro, and kaming dalawa ni Yan (Marian), as usual, kulitan, masaya sa set. Pati ‘yung mga kasama naming artista, lahat kami nag-enjoy,” stated the Kapuso actor-TV host.

Richard was also asked whether he was pressured about how the movie will fare at the box office. He replied, “Lagi naman, ‘pag may pelikula, may excitement, may kaba, lahat ‘yan mixed emotions ‘pag may pelikulang lumalabas. Pero of course, we all want to pray for the best. We’re hoping for the best for the movie, alam namin ni Yan na nandiyan ‘yung mga supporters namin, nasa likod namin.”

The Kapuso heartthrob concluded the interview with a meaningful message to fans and viewers alike: “Nagpapasalamat kaming dalawa ni Yan sa lahat ng mga sumusuporta at nagmamahal sa aming dalawa.
