Magnitude 5.5 earthquake hits Hindu Kush region in Afghanistan, GFZ says

An earthquake measuring 5.5 magnitude struck the Hindu Kush region in Afghanistan late on Wednesday, the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ) said.
