Luneta's Rizal Monument lit with French tricolor

The Rizal Monument at the Luneta was lit with the blue, white and red colors of the flag of France on Tuesday evening to express the solidarity of Filipinos with the French mourning the loss of 129 lives in the wave of terrorist attacks on Paris.

The photo was posted on The Philippines Facebook page administered by the Department of Tourism.

Since immediately after the attacks last Friday, other landmarks around the world were flooded with the colors of France's flag including the Eiffel Tower in Paris, the Opera House in Sydney, Australia, and Wembley Stadium in London.  — ELR/DVM, GMA News
