Wow lamig!: Temperatura sa Baguio City umabot sa 11 degrees

Patuloy ang pagbaba ng temperatura sa tinaguriang “Summer Capital" ng Pilipinas na Baguio City na umabot na sa 11 degrees, ayon sa Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration. Ayon kay Elvie Enriquez, weather forecaster ng Pagasa, naranasan sa Baguio City ang pinakamalamig na temperatura nitong Lunes para sa taong 2009. “Last Monday we recorded the coldest temperature in Baguio thus far at 11 degrees Celsius. We expect it to go down further and it may reach the record low set in 1961, at 6.3 degrees," pahayag ni Enriquez sa panayam ng dzBB radio. Sa Metro Manila, sinabi ni Enriquez na pumatak sa 19.7 degrees ang pinakamalamig na temperatura nitong Disyembre 3. Naitala noong 1964 sa 14.6 degress ang pinakamalamig na panahon sa Metro Manila. Sa linggong ito, inaasahan ng Pagasa na maglalaro sa 11 hanggang 22 degrees Celsius ang temperatura sa Baguio. Samantala, nasa 20 at 31 degrees naman ang temperatura sa Metro Manila. Idinagdag ng Pagasa na nakaaapekto sa silangan Luzon at silangang Visayas ang hanging habagat. "Eastern Luzon and Eastern Visayas will experience mostly cloudy skies with scattered rains. The rest of Luzon and Visayas will have partly cloudy to at times cloudy skies with isolated light rains. Mindanao will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms," pahayag ng Pagasa.
