Where were SONAs delivered?

Most State of the Nation Addresses (SONAs) were delivered at the Batasang Pambansa in Quezon City.

Out of 77 SONAs, 37 were delivered at the Batasang Pambansa. Even President Rodrigo Duterte's SONA, the 78th in the country's history, will be delivered there.

The other SONA venues from 1935 to 2015 were:

• the Legislative Building in Manila (destroyed during the Second World War): 30 SONAs;
• the temporary Congress Building along Lepanto Street in Manila: 4 SONAs;
• Maharlika Hall (now Kalayaan Hall), Malacañang Palace: 2 SONAs;
• Quirino Grandstand: 2 SONAs;
• Philippine International Convention Center: 1 SONA; and
• Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, US: 1 SONA.
