INFOGRAPHIC: Typhoon safety tips


An average of 20 typhoons or tropical storms hit the Philippines each year, killing hundreds and sometimes thousands of people.
 
The latest typhoon to hit the country, Glenda (Rammasun), has already claimed at least 10 lives as of this posting, and caused the disruption of power services and the toppling of trees in many areas such as Albay, Cavite, Metro Manila and Zambales.

The Philippine National Police on Wednesday issued the following tips to ensure the public's safety whenever there's a typhoon. —KG, GMA News
