Quiapo: Catholicism is just one of its many spiritualities


A slideshow of photographs by Rick Rocamora and Roehl Niño Bautista With its imposing facade and renown as the home of the Black Nazarene, Quiapo Church in Manila is staunchly Roman Catholic. But just outside it, the neighborhood is alive with many different spiritualities. Women in hijabs walk past stalls selling feng shui charms. Rosaries and religious icons are sold alongside agimat and gayuma. Fortune-tellers look at the future in a set of cards.
