Who's who in the Ampatuan family? A year after the Maguindanao Massacre, the Ampatuan clan continues to wield significant power in the province of Maguindanao. Even though Esmael "Toto" Mangudadatu was elected governor of the province, many clan members hold elective or appointed positions in the province's different municipalities, as they have for years. In fact, keeping track of all the members of the Ampatuan family can be daunting. This interactive family tree shows how the different family members are related to one another, their current and past elective positions, and their alleged roles in the Maguindanao massacre. A disclaimer: This family tree is based on our research of the most prominent Ampatuan clan members in politics. It does not include all the members of the Ampatuan clan.
