Magnitude 5.2 aftershock struck Masbate —PHIVOLCS

A magnitude 5.2 earthquake struck off the coast of Claveria, Masbate Tuesday afternoon, an aftershock of the magnitude 5.4 earthquake last June 13, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) said.
The earthquake was of tectonic origin. It happened at 3:04 p.m and was located 20 kilometers west of Claveria. It has a depth of 10 kilometers.
PHIVOLCS said Intensity III was felt in Naga City.
The instrumental Intensities are:
- Intensity III - City of Legazpi, Albay; Gumaca, Quezon; City of Sorsogon, Sorsogon
- Intensity II - Tabaco, Albay; Sipocot and Pili, Camarines Sur; Aroroy, Masbate; Mulanay, Quezon; Bulusan, Sorsogon
- Intensity I - Jose Panganiban, Camarines Norte; Sagnay, Camarines Sur; City of Roxas, Capiz; Panganiban, Catanduanes; Boac, Marinduque; Batuan, Masbate; Mauban, Quezon; Prieto Diaz, Sorsogon
