‘Shabu’ worth P100M seized, suspect arrested in Samar on Holy Wednesday —HPG

Fifteen kilos of suspected shabu worth around P100 million were seized at a checkpoint in Catbalogan, Samar on Holy Wednesday, the Philippine National Police - Highway Patrol Group (HPG) said.
In a press conference, PNP-HPG spokesperson Police Lieutenant Nadame Malang said the vehicle of the suspect was flagged down because its fog light was broken.
“Nakita by a plain view doctrine na nasa likod lang po ng passenger seat and driver seat itong more or less 15 kilos na hinihinalang shabu na merong standard drug price value worth P102 million,” he said.
