Jeepney almost falls off cliff in Dasmariñas, Cavite

A public utility jeepney (PUJ) nearly fell off a cliff in Dasmariñas, Cavite after it suddenly moved backwards due to a mechanical problem.

According to the "Spot Report" of GMA Regional TV’s Adrian Prietos in “State of the Nation” on Wednesday, the jeepney also hit an oncoming PUJ. Some passengers were hurt in the incident.

The local traffic investigation office asked the jeepney driver to explain the incident.

There are two other vehicular accidents that were recorded in Cavite.

Lady rider dragged by jeepney 

Also caught on camera was a PUJ that accidentally dragged a female motorcycle rider in Dasmariñas.

According to the report, the rider occupied the lane of the jeepney before she was dragged.

The rider was provided with first aid and both parties were able to settle the matter. 

Riders collide in Cavite intersection

Meanwhile, two motorcycle riders collided with each other in an intersection in Cavite.

The two had an altercation but they later settled the issue after being brought to the traffic investigation office. — Vince Angelo Ferreras/BAP, GMA Integrated News
