Sta. Ana, Cagayan police chief dies in car accident

The police chief of Sta. Ana, Cagayan died after his vehicle turned turtle in an accident.

According to a 24 Oras report on Wednesday, Police Major Ranolfo Gabatin was driving back to the police headquarters when the accident occurred.

Gabatin was rushed to the hospital, but he later passed away.

Police reported the vehicle could have lost its brakes. Investigation into the exact cause of the accident is still ongoing. —Jiselle Anne Casucian/RF, GMA Integrated News
