All lanes of NLEX Marilao northbound passable starting early Wednesday

All Marilao northbound lanes are open early Wednesday morning and traffic flow is expected to normalize in the next few days, the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) Corporation announced.
"We are pleased to announce that all four lanes of Marilao Northbound will be passable to vehicles beginning 1 a.m. on March 26, 2025 ahead of the projected schedule," according to the statement posted by NLEX Corporation on Tuesday.
"While all lanes will now be passable, supporting steel poles will remain on the lanes to allow concrete curing of the bridge. With this development, traffic flow in Marilao Northbound will now improve and normalize in the next few days."
The flow of traffic along two northbound lane of the NLEX was severely disrupted after a trailer truck damaged the Marilao Interchange Bridge last March 19, 2025.
The road mishap caused traffic congestion and changes were implemented in the traffic flow to facilitate repairs and ensure motorists' safety.
NLEX Corporation earlier announced that slow-moving traffic is expected as the repair of the Marilao Interchange Bridge may take two to three weeks after an accident.
"Originally scheduled for completion in two weeks, NLEX accelerated the repairs, with teams working around the clock and with the expedited delivery of the fabricated steel needed for the bridge," the company said, adding that "We thank the motoring public for their utmost understanding and patience while repairs were ongoing."
"Rest assured that NLEX continues to intensify safety and traffic measures in key areas of the expressway to ensure the safety and convenience of our valued customers," NLEX Corp. said. — BAP, GMA Integrated News
