Road collisions in Gumaca, Quezon and Tuba, Benguet injure at least 6
At least six people were injured in a collision involving a truck, van and bus in Gumaca, Quezon on Sunday morning.
According to Dano Tingcungco’s report on “24 Oras Weekend” on Sunday, parts of the vehicles were scattered in the area following the collision.
According to the police, the truck was driving downhill on the highway when it hit the approaching van and struck the bus.
The truck then overturned after the driver allegedly lost his brakes.
Of the injured people, four were from the van while the other two were from the truck, including the driver.
The bus driver said he is ready to negotiate a settlement for the damage while the van driver refused to comment on the matter.
The persons involved have yet to talk in the police station.
In Tuba, Benguet, at least nine vehicles collided with each other along Marcos Highway.
Among the involved vehicles are motorcycles, cars, and trucks.
