Sarangani aspirants pledge to preserve integrity of 2025 polls

Aspirants for local positions in Sarangani participated in a unity walk and signed the Integrity Pledge for a peaceful, fair, and honest 2025 elections.

The activity was spearheaded by the Commission on Elections (COMELEC).

During the activity, aspirants were briefed and reminded about responsible campaigning, as the campaign period for local positions officially starts on March 28.

“Hopefully because gusto nyo mag serve, mag serve po tayo ng buong puso, hopefully during the campaign period we do the honorable day by respecting our opponent respecting co candidates and respecting the rules and regulation of COMELEC,” COMELEC-12 Director, Atty. Wilfred Jay Balisado, said.

Aspirants, along with police and military officials, signed the Integrity Pledge to express their commitment to ensure an honest and orderly election.

COMELEC-Sarangani hopes that all candidates will abide by the election rules and regulations.

As part of the event, COMELEC also demonstrated how to use the automated counting machine that will be used during the election. —GMA Regional TV News
