SUV fatally hits man walking on sidewalk in San Pablo, Laguna

A man walking on a sidewalk died after a SUV rammed into him in San Pablo, Laguna.

In a “24 Oras Weekend” report on Sunday, CCTV footage showed the victim walking on the sidewalk, then the SUV coming up behind him. The SUV also hit two houses before turning over.

The victim, who was on his way home after buying from a store, died before he reached the hospital. 

Meanwhile, the driver was unharmed. Authorities said he fell asleep while driving.
