4 dead in GenSan collision

Four people were killed in a collision between a van and a pickup truck along a highway in General Santos City.

In a “24 Oras” report on Monday, almost half of the van was crushed while the front of the pickup truck was damaged.

The pickup truck allegedly overtook another vehicle and crashed into the approaching van.

Four of the van’s passengers, including the driver, were declared dead on arrival. They were all from Maguindanao del Norte.

Meanwhile, five of the pickup truck’s passengers, all from Cotabato City, were injured.

The pickup truck driver has yet to comment on the matter.
