CAAP reports helicopter crash in Nueva Ecija, probe underway

The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) has reported on Saturday that a helicopter crashed in Guimba, Nueva Ecija.

"The Philippine Aeronautical Rescue Coordination Center (PARCC) received multiple emergency alerts," CAAP said in a statement.

"The Aircraft Accident Investigation and Inquiry Board (AAIIB) lead investigator (Ret.) Col. Rhomel Ronda was dispatched to the crash site to determine the cause of the incident."

The CAAP is coordinating with local authorities in conducting an investigation into the incident. Additional information, the agency said, will be provided as more information becomes available. — BAP, GMA Integrated News
