3 dead, 1 seriously wounded in Lapu-Lapu City shooting

Three people were killed while another was seriously wounded  in a shooting incident in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu.

In Alan Domingo’s Monday report on “Saksi,” the suspect shot his neighbor during an argument.

The suspect then shot a woman working as a collector for a lending company who he encountered on the street.

The third fatality was also the suspect's neighbor, who just bought medicine for his sick child.

Another victim is in critical condition.

Authorities arrested the suspect, who admitted the crimes.

He said he was using illegal drugs.

Meanwhile, in Misamis Oriental, a 73-year-old man was beaten to death with a metal pipe by his neighbor.

Video taken by a cellphone camera Friday showed a man repeatedly hitting the victim who was lying on the sidewalk.

Despite efforts to stop him, the 53-year-old suspect continued to fatally hit the victim on the face.

The suspect surrendered but did not make any comments why he killed the victim.
