3 minor students caught with marijuana Batangas school

Three minor students were nabbed after they were caught in possession of alleged marijuana at a high school in Balayan, Batangas, the Philippine National Police (PNP) reported.
In a report, the Balayan Municipal Police Station said the suspects were all 15 years old and residents of barangays Lanatan, Dalig, and Gimalas in Balayan.
The municipal police station said it received a call from the head teacher of the Balayan National High School at about 5:20 p.m. on Friday, informing them that three students were allegedly caught in possession of marijuana.
Police personnel then immediately went to the school to conduct an investigation.
According to the report, a teacher saw two of the suspects supposedly preparing to use marijuana. One of the suspects immediately ran outside, while the other was left in the comfort room with the teacher.
The teacher then asked the student about their activity, and the suspect responded that they were about to use marijuana. Another student later surrendered the pieces of evidence to the teachers, who then reported to the police for proper disposition.
At the Principal's Office, school authorities turned over the students, along with one piece of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected dried marijuana leaves and seeds, and one piece of improvised glass tube.
The Balayan Municipal Police Station has coordinated with the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office of the municipality and took custody of the children in conflict with the law (CICL).
