6-year-old girl allegedly raped by 2 minor playmates in Pampanga

Two boys allegedly raped a six-year-old girl in Mabalacat City, Pampanga.

According to a “State of the Nation” report on Wednesday, the result of the police investigation showed that the girl was playing on a basketball court when the two boys allegedly grabbed her and dragged her to a grassy area, where she was assaulted.

The two boys are eight and 10 years old.

When she got home, the victim narrated the incident to her mother, who reported it to the police.

The two boys are under the custody of the Department of Social Welfare and Development.

The parents of the two boys did not comment on the incident.

Meanwhile, authorities arrested a man for allegedly raping the granddaughters of his live-in partner in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu.

The suspect allegedly first raped “Kristine” when she was eight years old.

Due to fear of his threats, the victim did not report the incident.

Kristine said the suspect had been taking advantage of her for six years. The latest was last January 9, when she mustered the courage to report him.

“Pagod na talaga ako sa mga problema ko. Ang bigat na talga. Hindi ko na kayang dalhin kaya umiiyak ako araw-araw. Parati kong niisip ang nagyari sa akin bawat gabi, kaya’t sinabihan ko na si papa,” said Kristine, who is now 14 years old.

(I’m so tired of my problem. I cry every day because I cannot carry the burden anymore. I think of what happened to me every night so I told my father what happened.)

“Sinabihan niya ako na araw-araw siyang umiiyak. Parang iba ang pakiramdam ko, kaya kinuha ko siya doon,” Kristine’s father said.

(She told me she cried every night so I took her when I felt there was something wrong.)

Kristine’s older sister was also allegedly raped by the suspect for two years.

“Sabi sa akin ng kapatid ko, parehas tayo ng sinapit ate. Sabi niya sa akin, itago na lang natin ito kasi tinakot tayo,” said 17-year-old “Michelle.”

(My sister told me we have the same experiences. She told me not to tell anyone because she was afraid of the suspect.)

The suspect was arrested on January 10 and is facing rape charges.
