2 die while cleaning septic tank

Two men died of suffocation while cleaning a septic tank in Opol, Misamis Oriental. 

According to a report on State of the Nation on Monday, one of the victims went down the clogged septic tank of a restaurant on Friday.

He was later heard shouting for help due to a headache and difficulty in breathing. His companion came for him to save him, but failed to ascend, too.

The brother of one of the victims tried to got in the septic tank, but was prevented due to the dangerous situation.
