4 killed, 2 hurt in Davao City road accident

Four people died while two others were injured in a road crash involving two vans in Davao City on Saturday, January 4, 2025.

The victims were heading home to Cotabato from a beach resort in Samal Island.

Police said the two vans were traveling the Davao-Digos Road in opposite directions when the incident happened.

The van heading north swerved after its driver allegedly lost control of the vehicle at a curved portion of the road.

The vehicle then crashed into the van in the opposite lane, killing four of its passengers and hurting two others.

The drivers of the two vehicles were taken under police custody while investigation into the accident continues.—GMA Regional TV News
