2 dead in Christmas Day stabbings in Antipolo City

Two persons were killed in separate stabbing incidents in Antipolo City, Rizal on Christmas Day.

In Barangay Cupang, a woman was stabbed by her stepson, according to a report on Saksi.

Authorities said the victim and suspect were having a drinking session before the incident.

A fight over household expenses is seen as the motive for the crime.

Meanwhile, a tricycle driver was stabbed to death in Barangay San Jose.

According to the witness, the tricycle driver was about to enter his house when he was stabbed seven times by his assailants.

Three of the four suspects were arrested, while the person who stabbed the victim was nabbed during a follow-up operation.
