Heavy vehicles banned from crossing Biliran Bridge

Heavy equipment vehicles are temporarily prohibited from traversing the Biliran Bridge, which connects the provinces of Leyte and Biliran, due to unusual swinging. 

According to a report on "24 Oras" on Monday, separate footage showed wave-like movements on the bridge, and the steel bars can be seen moving. 

The Department of Public Works and Highways only allows light vehicles like SUVs and passenger vans to pass through the bridge. 

Meanwhile, buses had to drop off the passengers first before they could cross the bridge. —Vince Ferreras/LDF, GMA Integrated News
