Fire hits residential area in Imus, Cavite


Around 120 families lost their homes in a fire that hit a residential area in Barangay Pag-asa III in Imus City, Cavite early Monday morning, according to the city fire station.

The affected families will take shelter in Tinabunan Elementary School after their houses made of light materials were razed by the fire, Super Radyo dzBB’s Mao dela Cruz reported.

The cost of damage reached around P250,000.

 

According to the Imus City government, the fire started around 5:06 a.m. and reached the first alarm around 5:43 a.m.

The fire was declared under control around 6:51 a.m., according to the Super Radyo dzBB’s report.—Joviland Rita/AOL, GMA Integrated News
