Dead person found in sink hole in Carmen, Cebu

The body of a man was found in a sink hole in Carmen town, north Cebu province.

The sink hole was estimated to be from 20 to 30 feet deep, located in Purok Mahogany, Barangay Sac-on, Carmen town.

The body was found at around 6 a.m. on December 12, 2024.

The dead man was determined to be 35 years old, in a domestic relationship, a chainsaw operator, and a resident of Barangay Lower Natimao-an, also in Carmen.

According to the Carmen Police Station, a councilman of Barangay Lower Natimao-an reported to the police station a dead person found in a sink hole.

Police personnel along with members of the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office and Bureau of Fire Protection retrieved the dead body.

As of posting time, police are yet to determine the circumstances in the person's death. — GMA Regional TV News
