Dalaguete Church in Cebu receives 3 new bells worth over P4-M

Ahead of Christmas, Cebu's San Guillermo de Aquitania Parish, also known as Dalaguete Church, unboxed three big bells given to their church.

In Kuya Kim's report on "24 Oras," Thursday, Parish Heritage President Ceferino Batoctoy said that the bells, which cost over P4-million, were from Poland.

"Sila na ang nag-design. Nilagyan lang namin ng Parokya ni San Guillermo," he said.

The new bells replaced the old bells in the church.

"Pito ang bells na broken noong Bohol Quake, Typhoon Odette. Na-damage na, hindi na usable," Ceferino said.

Two of the old bells were placed in a museum.

"Ngunit ang tatlo—kay lima ang aming kinuha, pinabalik doon para display na lang," he said.
