Dog struck by arrow rescued in Bacolod
By GMA Integrated News
A dog hit by an arrow has been rescued in Bacolod City.
A student who sought assistance from the non-government organization that rescued the Aspin reported seeing the animal with a stomach injury, according to a "Saksi" report on Friday.
The dog underwent an operation and is now recovering at the veterinary clinic.
Authorities are investigating who shot the dog.
The Bacolod City Veterinary Office has expressed concern over the latest incident of animal cruelty, which comes after another dog was struck by an arrow in November.
In response, the police said they would set up an animal welfare desk. — Jiselle Anne Casucian/VBL, GMA Integrated News
