A group of armed men forced their way into a resort in Lapu-Lapu City in Cebu.
In a video, armed men wearing bonnets were seen getting out from two vans and climbing over the closed gate of the resort, according to a report on Unang Balita on Tuesday.
According to police, the incident happened last September 25 when the resort was taken over by the alleged new owner of the property.
The police were called in but the armed men already left when they arrived.
No one was hurt in the incident, police said.
According to the previous management of the resort who also uploaded the video on social media, the armed men allegedly stole valuable items and took three of their staff as hostages.
They said they uploaded the video to help in the ongoing legal proceedings to determine the true owner of the resort.
